Life and Fashion Magazine celebrated our recent expansion into sunny San Diego with a launch party at one of the city's hippest nightclubs: the Airport Lounge in Little Italy. As jets soared overhead on their approach into Lindbergh Field (two miles away), this aptly named club became filled with stunning San Diego models, the most in-the-know socialites, photographers, press and the movers and the shakers of San Diego's business world, all dressed to impress. All of our creative work paid off as was clearly evident by the excitement of the overflowing crowd celebrating the magazine and the new tradition that was about to begin.

Inside, the curved white walls splashed with constantly changing colored lights, the music bumped, and the energy soared. Outside, on the flight-path patio, conversations took a back seat as planes roared past and bartenders in pilots' uniforms worked overtime serving the exuberant crowd of thirsty revelers.

A precursor to our Cover Girl Search Party, this "coming-out" soiree was a meet-and-greet for San Diego-based models to be seen and an opportunity to find their sponsors for the final competition. Dressed in all white, the models perused the crowds, dropping their names, agencies, and modeling backgrounds as well as elaborating on their aspirations. This was a fashion paradise, with one beautiful woman after another displaying her grace, charm, and elegance to a crowd eager to be pleased.
